The best way to start is by filling out my contact form. After this, I will reach out to you within 48 hours to share more details and make sure I fully understand what you're looking for. Then we will discuss dates, times, and locations that you would like and confirm the session price. Finally, you will pay the booking fee (read more about this under "When and how do I pay?") and you will be scheduled!
Once you're scheduled, I will share more information about things you might like to bring along specific to your session type. I also keep a close eye on the weather to make sure we don't need to reschedule, and I am always available to answer any questions you have up until your session date!
The session length will vary based on the type of session you are looking for! My shortest sessions are around 30 minutes (headshots and dancer minis) and my longest sessions can take multiple hours (groups or events). My most popular packages list the typical session lengths along with the corresponding prices!

To secure your date, I take a reservation fee of 20% of the total session price. This fee counts towards your total, so for example, if your package is $150 you will pay $30 to reserve your date and $120 later. This fee is fully refundable if you cancel your session within the period specified by the cancellation policy. You can pay the remainder of the session price before or after the session depending on your preference, I find most pay day of once the session is complete. If you need to pay late for some reason, we can discuss your options, but I will be unable to return your edited album until the full session price has been paid.
At this time I can accept Venmo, PayPal, cash, or check as payment methods.
If you wish to reschedule a session, I request that you let me know as soon as possible. The earlier I am notified, the more likely I am to still have dates open for you! Your booking fee will automatically be transferred to the new date with no extra cost. I save dates for cases such as weather, emergencies, or illness, so we will plan accordingly. If we are unable to find a new date, it will be treated as a cancellation.
If you wish to cancel a session, I request that you do this at least 48 hours in advance to receive you 20% booking fee back. Any cancellation past this point will not get a refund on this fee. Extenuating circumstances may be considered at my discretion.
Yes! I welcome all different types of couples and prepare poses unique to you, your partner, and your vision.
We can go wherever your heart desires! Sometimes the type of session can guise us, for example a graduate session would occur at meaningful places on your college campus. Depending on the aesthetic you're looking for, I have a list of location suggestions I can provide if you need ideas. As for number of locations, I do not limit this as long as we can realistically make it to within the time limit of your chosen package. I can help you determine what we will be able to accomplish in different amounts of time, and you can look at my most popular packages to get an idea.
This is totally up to you! I do not have a limit on outfits or props in any of my session packages as long as we remain in the time limit of your chosen package. Depending on the type of session you choose, upon booking I will send you a short guide of ideas with outfit inspiration and things to bring along that I've found useful from my experience. I know there's a lot to think about and I hope to ease any stress you might have, so don't worry! We'll make sure you have everything you need.
Absolutely! A lot of people like to bring along a friend or partner to help make them feel more comfortable or just to carry extra items around. If you want to have friends or family in your photos with you, just let me know! For graduates specifically, be sure to check out the extended or group photo packages if you are hoping to have more than just a few photos with others.
For regular sessions, such as graduates or engagements, I have a 2 week return period on albums. I often get them back sooner, but 2 weeks from the date of the photos is my general policy. For larger events, such as weddings or anything with substantially more photos, I have a 1 month return period. If you need images back faster, please let me know upon booking and we can discuss expedited timelines!
This depends a lot on the session type and length! For example, headshot sessions do not get back as many photos as graduate sessions. For an average length session (i.e. graduate, engagement, etc.), I do not have a limit on photos back. I edit and return everything we take after culling (removing duplicates, blinking, out of focus, etc.). An average length session can expect to get back anywhere from 100-250 photos.
I feel like the best way to show my editing style is through looking at my past work in my portfolio or on my Instagram page! To put it into words, though, I would describe my style as bright and airy, classic and joyful, and true-to-color (i.e. keeping tones similar to real life). Each session can look a bit different depending on the location and light, but these are the overall goals when I'm editing an album!
No! I never share photos without approval from the people in the photos. I send out a form when I return your album asking if you're ok with me sharing your photos in my portfolio and on my social media, so you'll get the opportunity to select "yes" or "no" there. Some people prefer to keep their photos just for themselves, I totally understand and respect that!
